Get Started
Getting started couldn’t be easier! It’s just a few quick steps.
1 Sign up and purchase your subscription
Head over to admin.livewebagent.com/signup to create your account and choose your subscription plan.
2 Login with your new credentials
Use the email and password you just created to log into the Live Web Agent dashboard.
3 Click the link to Add Your Site
From your dashboard, click the “Add Site” link to register your website with Live Web Agent.
4 Enter the URL and details and submit
Fill in your website URL and relevant details, then submit the form to create your site entry.
5 Download the plugin and copy your API key
Download the WordPress plugin from the provided link. Important: Copy your API key now — it won't be shown again!
6 Install and activate the plugin on your WordPress site
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Choose the downloaded .zip file and click “Install Now”. After installation, click “Activate”.
7 Access the plugin settings
In your WordPress admin sidebar, navigate to Settings → Live Web Agent to access the plugin configuration page.
8 Paste your API key and validate your connection
Enter the API key you copied in Step 5, then click “Validate & Save” to establish the connection between your site and Live Web Agent.
9 Set your preferences
Configure your chatbot name, style, behavior, and other preferences to match your brand. Then trigger a content sync.
10 Go Online to receive human agent escalations
Toggle yourself to “Online” in the admin panel. You're now ready to receive live chat escalations from your AI agent!
